Many interesting antennas were published in the Editors & Engineers
Handbooks from the 30's and into Bill Orrs 60's editions. Also old QST's
had articles that never made it into the HB or Antenna Manuals.
The Brits were always into strange antennas to fit their tiny "gardens".
What Ive noticed mainly was the absolute stress on "cheap" above all
else and the lack of supporting theory or use of test equipment to
support the claims.
