[Hallicrafters] S-76

Recently I spoke with Alex W4TED who I saw had won a S-76 in a Contest Run way back in 1952 by Bill Jr.   The S-76 was originally
called the SX-76 but later changed back to S-76 after just one ad in QST.  The S-76 was the first in a line that included the SX-96 and SX-100.  The SX-88 was an off shoot.

Alex told me he still had the S-76 and it worked great.  Alex is often on the bottom of 40 CW running high speed CW.
