Back in my novice days, I had limited antenna space in my yard but the
neighbor next door had a huge manure pile which he kept full as part of his
landscaping business. He said I could play with antennas there, but he
didn't want to see any wires. I used insulated wire and buried the antenna
in the manure pile. It unbelievably got RF out but I kept getting reports of
crappy signals.
