Hey Tom,
The original box too? Wow! Maybe it is time for me to repost the hopefully amusing commentary I posted some years ago about the importance, and "value?", of that original box, again?
If it is not mind blowing enough that someone spends three grand+ for an item probably worth one tenth of that price, then he/she spends additional for a box that is fifty+ years old, smells like mildew, has more must on it then a Musk Ox and has a partly complete collection of the animal and insect kingdoms life forms somewhere inside the box in that "original" packing stuff!
I mean, original is important and totally authentic is critical - in rare cases. But being totally blind, perhaps I am missing something here that the sighted see, but you can't even show off that original box because people collapse from an allergic reaction to the scent of mildew that would revive the Dead Sea!

For those of you with TOO much disposable income, there's an SX-88 on QTH.com for only $3,500.... whooee. Under the bargain page, there's also an SX-16 with the ORIGINAL BOX and WARRANTY CARD for $350. Not stumping for anybody here, just thought you'd like to know.
