[Hallicrafters] New resistors

This past week, I ordered some resistors from Mouser in 1, 2, and 5 watt sizes.  The 5w 18K (Valiant VFO resistor) was the "normal" size one would expect of a 5 w resistor, but the 1 and 2 watt versions were much (physically) smaller.  [ for instance, the 1w was the size of a 1/4 w, and the 2w was the size of a 1/2 w ]  Now, I know everythings getting smaller, but we now face a problem of having a component which has less LENGTH and smaller leads, that may or may not "fit" between two points.

When ordering these new (Vischay) resistors, check the data-sheets to make sure it's a size that will work.
