It attaches to the cabinet lid and blows down onto the finals. The cord is long enough to allow opening the lid.

do you know who to ask where the fan goes in the ht-32a .
don't see one in any of the photos that I find of it. there is a power 
socket on the main chassis so it is a 120 v fan .
