[Hallicrafters] Old B-A

I have received a number of e-mails about old B-A stores and the people who 
ran them (and their problems).

Most of the ham radio stores just sell the latest gear and if they take 
trades only gear for the past 5 or 7 years.  None of our old hallicrafters, 
hammarlund, or even heath/collins gear.  Associated Radio in Kansas used to 
trade in older gear but carry almost nothing now.  If you want used gear the 
lists at qth.com, eHam, or Ebay are now the best places.  There are a few 
stores that sell older parts and tubes tho.  Yaesu and Icom are dropping 
support for gear over about 10 years old.  Gee what will happen to that gear 
when it passes 50 years old?
