[Hallicrafters] Making SX-146 / HT-46 Ready for operation

As I recently upgraded to General I was thinking of bringing my SX-146 
(which I owned since it was new) and my HT-46 (purchased a few years 
years ago) into service as my HF station. 

I'd like any suggestions on what process I should go through to get 
these radios back in service.  The radios appear to be in good physical 
condition and have always been inside, never stored in the damp garage.  
The SX-146 worked when last powered about ten years ago.  I have never 
powered up the HT-46 but I was told that it worked when I bought it.
