We have one surplus shop that downsized from an old mill building in
downtown Manchester, NH about 10-15 years ago when every tenant got kicked
out for renovation of the building for more upscale tenants.

He relocated to just off I-93 on the outskirts of Manchester and has been
there ever since. Lots of cheap test equipment, transformers, PS, motors,
some tools, squirrel cage blowers for amp builders, and the usual industrial
variety. He even has racks from the old telephone style to fancy and
enclosed; prices are $20 and up. I bought 3 Triplett 630's with leads and
cases for $7.50 ea about 4 months ago; all they needed was batteries and a
holder cleaning. Cal is still right on the money. Also shop there for spools
of wire and solder.

A few times Ive been there when he had just unpacked boxes of Orange Drops,
silver micas, poly film, and other caps useful in boatanchor restorations.
Dirt cheap by the dozen to by the hundred and up. This is a rather high tech
area with high density of companies; there is always something different.

Almost no PC or computer board crap which is just fine with me.
