If it glows, but is not the smile left behind by that Cheshire Kitty, it
qualifies! If it glows, but is not truly vintage, just keep an alligator
clip on your lip and do not blurt out a confession on the air! I am the NCS
for the HHI 20 meter Net, not a Ham Hot Line For Those Who Sinned during
Field Day! You need to take those issues up with a Priest, Pastor, Minister
or Rabbi!

Please take a few minutes out of your grass mowing, mulching and shrub
mutilation chores for the weekend. Hey, it 'might' rain! Don't try to do
that old rain dance you used to do to impress the young females, as those
muscle moves will now leave you either as stiff as an over starched shirt or
as limp as your XYL's spaghetti! Join us for some therapeutic stress
reduction group therapy using the EMF radiation from those glowing finals to
sooth those pain stricken muscles. Besides it is a lot more fun on a Sunday
afternoon to suck down a cold iced tea and chase radio waves instead of
trying to out run that nest of angry Hornets you upset when you weed whacked
their nursery!

The Pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC). The HHI Net proper
starts shooting RF at the big "X" on the D layer of the Ionosphere at 1:15
PM EST/EDT, (1715 UTC).

The frequency, for those who still do not remember it after twelve years,
(chuckle!), is 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and that
weird sound like a cyclonic wind storm blowing out of your RX speaker! If it
is from the Sun doing something different to get rid of excess gas, I wish
the Space Weather guys would shoot a probe full of 'Gas XXX' into the area
of solar gastric distress and eliminate that "Run! A tornado is coming down
the street!" sound.

Please listen for the HHI Net from 14.292 through 14.293 MHZ. Somewhere in
that orderly collection of cycles we shall be!

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow. So please join us for some vintage
radio fun, facts, fibs about the bargain you got at that last Ham Fest,
technical tips, parts you need or whatever. Just join us and keep those
wonders that still go glow in the dark glowing!
