Jack,

Those things are moderately unobtainable and quite fragile and subject
to breakage.

Here's what I suggest: Rebuild it.

Remove the remnants of the phenolic disk by drilling out the rivets
that hold it. Find some similar material that's modern (a thin sheet
of lexan, maybe) and fabricate a functional equivalent. The new
"disk" may not need to be round, and may have some slots instead of a
big punched hole in the middle. Then drill the new "disk" to suit and
re-assemble with 4-40 or 2-56 hardware.

While you are contemplating the whole thing, send an email with the
particulars to the fellow at ... Play Things of the Past. He lists
them under Hardware as "Flex Couplings". Send him an email with what
you need.

www.oldradioparts.com

(Radiodaze is another place to try but Play Things of the Past has
long lists of parts from old radios. He's recently been on vacation
but might be back by now. )

Good luck.
