[Hallicrafters] shipping by freight

Anybody out there have any experience in shipping by crated-freight?  I have two transmitters WITH their power supplies that need to go to North Carolina from Denver, and with a combined NET weight of 90 pounds, freight is looking better than UPS or anybody else, as we're talking about 4 individual pieces of equipment.

Any info would be very much appreciated
