[Hallicrafters] Heads Up! Global Glow Change!

Hi All,

Yours truly made the incredibly dumb mistake of announcing that the 
Wednesday evening HHI Global Glow Roundtable would be using 7.143 MHZ lsb as 
its secondary frequency. Bingo! All of a sudden people started showing up on 
7.143, above it, below it and beside it like an alien invasion from one of 
those black/white horror flicks of the fifties! At least I know someone is 
reading the Net posts! But henceforth I shall not announce an open frequency 
to the world!

So, the Global Glow is on Wednesday evening on 14.315 MHZ starting at 6:30 
PM EST/EDT, (2230 UTC). If there is no 20 meter propagation, then we will 
change to 7.190 MHZ lsb. Hopefully the international short-wave broadcasters 
will not drown us out with their million watt signals!

So first tune in 14.315 MHZ on 20 meters. If you do not hear any of us by 
2245 UTC, try tuning in 7.190 MHZ on 40 meters. If you still do not hear one 
of us, either we are all asleep at the mike, not on the air or the band is 
as dead as the defiant Cat who tried to stare down a street paving machine!

If any of you should discover a quiet frequency on the 40M band, please 
"WRITE" me direct! (LOL!)
