[Hallicrafters] Would like to sell an HT-32A SX101A pair

Here's a chance to get this old classic pair. Both are in good working
condition, I have played around with them on & off the past year or so &
made several contacts in SSB & CW. Not tried for AM. The HT-32A has the
solid state HV mod, and puts out the full 100 watts. One knob has a
large screw to replace the set screw which had stripped, but aside that
the visual cosmetics are a good 7 of 10. Both units had been recently
disassembled an the cases completely repainted inside & out (black &
silver). Nice and clean look inside the HT-32A as well, fairly bright
brass shine to the chassis. The SX-101A is clean inside but has a
slightly more "dingy" interior due to tarnish on the chassis from dust
that had accumulated before I got the rig, but now it's dust free, just
couldn't get the shine up to par. So I would give this one a 6 out of
10. I've run this rig for many, many hours, and no problems. The
mode/power switch works fine, but does not cut off the power in the off
position, but you can just put the rig on a power strip. This one has no
mods, was never re-capped, but works like a champ, the lights
illuminating the band in use scroll down exactly as they should, etc.
I would like to sell this as "pickup only" in the Asheville NC area, or
even arrange a "half way" meet. If you are able to make a pickup, with
cash, no "reasonable" offer refused. If not, I know I can do better on
Ebay but I sure would like to avoid the huge shipping problem, as these
rigs together weigh almost 150 pounds.
Photocopied manuals included for both.
Please respond by email ASAP if you are interested, I can reply with
photos if you wish. I'm going out of town and will probably end up
putting them on ebay by Tues afternoon, as I'm so lazy doing these
listings, my wife wants me to clean up, and this week is my semi-annual
shack cleaning week, if that makes sense. Anyway, thanks to all you
folks that have helped my with questions in the past. I did rebuild my
SR-150 coil & sold that rig, among others. Have a good day.
