I did a similar thing with my PM 23. I had the acoustic lenses (fins) blasted and then powder 
coated. The color match is exactly like original gray (wink wink). Of course, I connected 
things up with oxygen free copper wire for a truly great audio experience on 40 meters and 
above. On 80 meters & lower, not so hot. Maybe I should have gone with chrome?
