Join us tomorrow, Sunday July 6th, for the HHI 20 meter Net. Rain or shine, 
snow or hail, fog or smog, chores to do or grass needing a trim ... Let 
those wonders that still go glow in the dark shine on! Light them up and 
let's play radio!

After all, is this not a three day Halliday?

The Pre-Net will commence at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC). No fanfare, just 
a lot of BANGS!, BOOMS! and KABOOMS! as those Black Cat firecrackers help us 
celebrate America's Independence. Hey! How come we are celebrating "our" 
Independence Day while using fireworks made in places where the family pet 
is called "Lunch"?

The Net proper will begin at 1:15 PM EST/EDT, (1715 UTC). Don't you dare 
miss it tomorrow, as a surprise guest will render her version of a patriotic 
song. Fear not! Roseanne Barr is not singing! Who could forget that!

The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and 
the teenager's version of the "Big Bang" theory where on July fourth their 
timeless tradition of blowing the door and flag off mailboxes by sticking 
lit firecrackers inside is practiced. Illegal? Yes. But it is difficult to 
find fault with those who blow the newsprint off the recycled paper towels 
the junk mail is printed on!
