In this type of instance, that resistor would have been a value between 
those two points based on final alignment at the factory.  This was a 
typical method of "fine tuning" to get the "desired" results.

You could get a sampling of about 100 of the same model, and find 
results to plot on a curve,, but it won't make YOUR radio any better.

What value is installed?
