While you can't print "White" anymore, it can be done with Clear Decal Paper
called Inkjet WaterSlide decal paper. There are sites that offer this type
of print media.
The way I understand it, is you take an image of the surface you are trying
to add lettering to and then transfer that image to your computer. Add the
lettering in the type face desired and then send it to your printer. Your
inkjet will print the background and the White or whatever color you desire
on top of the image you took of the background. Cut it out and then like a
decal, soak it in water and slide it onto your cabinet. While not the best,
from what I hear, it leaves just a slight bump in the cabinet since you are
adding to the surface, but if you take a good image of the background, is
almost invisible.
I have the decal paper but never tried it.
