Enjoy the HA-6 David. I use one regularly to drive a 1200W amp and it is 
driven by a TS-830.

The HA-6 is a bit deaf by todays standard and will benefit by either a front 
end change or a preamp. I converted that path to SS and it regularly 
outhears locals running top of the line rice boxes digging for those weak E 
skip Europeans and other DX on CW.

You dont need sunspots to work a lot of DX and double hop E skip USA every 
season.
