[Hallicrafters] Join Special 2008 Halli Sunday 20 Meter Net!

Please join us on Sunday January 6th for the first HHI 20 meter Net of 2008. 
For whatever the reason, the band seems to start out very long and gradually 
shorten up as the afternoon progresses. Sometimes it is short enough that I 
can work stations between Maine, Florida, California and Washington!

The pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC). The Net proper begins at 
1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key 
clicks, mike splatter and QRM provided by the 'Double Dribble SSB 
Challenge'. Sounds like wireless basketball, but I was not aware pro sports 
were being broadcast on the Ham bands! Who knows. It may be some form of 
special event for the wrist impairred who can not pound brass with a steady 
rhythm! In which case, I qualify!

Join us and light up those wonders that still go glow in the dark. Hear you
