[Hallicrafters] Snow / Antenna question.

If 100watts of intermittent RF (SSB or CW) heats your antenna enough to melt
snow you have bigger problems than 70 inches of snow on the ground........
The antenna is supposed to radiate the energy, not turn it into heat!!!
The Handbook contains enough information to calculate the power needed to
heat a 40M dipole to 50 degrees or so.....
