If you're a REAL Hallicrafters collector you need a Hallicrafters TV to
complement your HD TV!!!

 

I just noticed this in the San Francisco Craigslist.  It's been a long time
since I've seen one of these and from the picture it looks to be in good
condition.

 

"Up for sale is a Hallicrafters T-54 Tube Television. It has been recapped,
and ready for use. It includes a UHF Converter, and a VHF amplifier. Keep in
mind that All over the Air TV transmissions will be going digital Feb 17th,
2009 you will need a converter to runs this TV after that, except if your
using it for Amateur Television, or Slow Scan Television. Asking $200 for
all three items, and they are available for Pickup Only by San Francisco Bay
Area Residents. Sorry No Shipping. Email me if interested."

It seems obvious that the poster is a ham and lives just north of San Jose,
