[Hallicrafters] Original Boxes

Ya'know... I've always been mystified (myself) about the importance of an
assemblage of cardboard. You KNOW they're not gonna' put it BACK into the
box (To Use It), so what's the big deal? I guess it's that warm fuzzy
feeling you get when you see it IN there, and it's almost like Christmas
when you get to take it OUT.

For those who had SWANs, those little corner-pieces of somewhat-elastic foam
would NEVER go back in the same places they came from - mine had arrows and
stuff like "RF top" written on 'em, but it was like a form of Rubic's Cube
to get 'em all back where they belonged.

Boys - it's a desperate time when we keep boxes of air in the attic.
