[Hallicrafters] SX-28/SX-28-A Bottom Plate

I suspect that the bottom plate RF coil and capacitor holes from a SX-28 will not align properly on a SX-28-A.   In other words can a SX-28 bottom plate be used on a SX-28A without modification to the plate?   I suspect the answer will be "no".
