I saw that radio on eVilBay. What a tragedy. It
looked pretty good, from what I could tell. He didn't
show a picture of the underside.

I really think he is just too lazy to try to pack the
radio for shipment.

Do you remember three years or so ago, there was a guy
who listed an SX-28 that had gone through a house
fire? Now, that radio truly looked Baaaaaaaaaad.
Yet, the seller in that instance still got somewhere
in the neighborhood of $100 for it.

What REALLY slays me, are the a** h***s who "part out"
prefectly good, working radios... to "maximize their
profit." I saw a case within the last couple of
weeks, where someone did this to an SP-600.

Some of these are, without doubt, computer-generated
idiots who think they ought to have a tube radio but
know nothing about the stuff they buy, or are scared
to death of "high voltage" and realize they are in
over their heads... rather than admitting they made a
mistake, or heaven forbid, risk losing any money
reselling the radio, they "part it out."

If I have stepped on some toes here... to paraphrase a
line from "Gone With the Wind:" Frankly, I don't give
a d***.
