[Hallicrafters] RTMA Dummy Antenna needed for alignment?

This thread just keeps going on and on.......

I've been aligning my (and other guy's) receivers for years without ever 
using anything more than a series cap on occasion.   With complete success, I 
might add.   Receiver list includes SX-42/16/9,
 R-390A, HQ-180, 51-J(*), 75-A3 among many others.
