Please park the GPS guided self-propelled Pooper Snooper Scouper and declare
your yard a temporary compost site. Forget mowing the stragley strands of
yellowish green grass, buy some Sheep and save money by not buying gas for
the yard tractor. Hang up that yard leaf rake before you have more spinal
hangups then towels in a drip dry laundrymat. It is Sunday April 27th and
time for us lovers of things that still go glow in the dark to drift into
the Halligan's Hallicrafters International, (HHI), 20 meter Net! Work will
wait, but those waves we wander won't!

The Pre-Net portion commences at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC). Remember that
old, and I mean really OLD, southern gospel song entitled "Turn Your Radio
On"? Last Sunday one of you played about thirty-eight seconds of it exactly
when the HHI Pre-Net was due to shake, rattle and roll the electrons in the
Ionosphere. I do not know who it was, but do us a favor. Get the version
done by Ray Stevens in the seventies! Now that version could awaken or
revive to alive a dead Hallicrafters S-38C that got French kissed on the
cabinet by a forklift! More flat than a stack of pancakes the circus fat
lady sat on! So please play Ray and then Turn Your Radio On OM!

Now if there is some deeply personal reason you do not wish to share with
humanity, you can sneak in and QSO with me as I tweek and tune my gear from
12:20 PM EST/EDT, (1620 UTC), and pretend that those listening will turn a
deaf ear to what is said. So if you feel the need, go for it!

The Net proper starts at 1:15 PM EST/EDT, (1715 UTC) with no fanfare or
commercial messages.

The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and a
caffeine powered QSO Party somewhere with lips chattering like dirty
contacts on a TR relay! Now if possible, we slide down toward 14.292 MHZ to
escape some of the spurious splatter from eighteen wheelers running more
power then many MW commercial stations do, who also just happen to be
illegally close to us. So seek and ye shall find us between 14.292 and
14.293, give or take a HZ.

So drift on by tomorrow and share your latest repair trick, vacuum tube
adoption or parts crisis with us. It does not have to be a Hallicrafters, as
long as it, or you, glow! If it doesn't glow, just keep your lips zipped and
nobody will know you are sneaking in the backdoor with a solid state shape
shifter! Hear you tomorrow.
