Well, let's see. With today's airspace in the NY, NJ area we could
figure about 5 hours each way. Maybe 8 round trip with favorable winds.
I have a year to go before I can get my medical back so I'd need to hire
a qualified pilot to go along with me. Actually they're pretty cheap at
$30 to 40 an hour. The Deb only burns 14 GPH so we're looking at 112
to 140 gallons of Av Gas. What the heck, You just pay the gas bill and
I'll pay the safety pilot.<:-))
Good Luck Carl.
I had a friend bring home an HT33B a few years back from Dayton. That
worked out quite well. Got a couple good 8295A tubes from the
reflector (they're worth WAY Yyyyy more than the amp.
I gotta get that HT-32B Running although it's reaching the time of year
where I really don't need the extra heat in the shop.
I have a Henry 2002A for 2-meters, but would really like to build
something with authority<:-)) for it and 6-meters. Maybe use some of
those RUSSIAN tubes.<:-))
