[Hallicrafters] Has Halli Been Reborn?

Kim is correct. The original spoof was first released on April 1, 2000. I
intentionally did not change the dates so as to provide one more clue that
this was a spoof, not a real event. Even though the article contains
numerous hints; October 31 (Halloween), February 2 (Groundhog Day), "April
Fool" spelled backwards, an international phone number that is not to where
it says etc. People still thought this the real deal!

Several actually called the international phone number and got some
unsuspecting soul who was just as surprised as the person was who made the
call! Others actually got very upset as they were ready to mail their money
for the SX-88 being advertised!

So to help prevent such failures in recognizing a spoof from a real Ad
occuring again, I left the October 31, 2000 and February 2, 2001 dates
intact. Be warned, however! If this should appear again on April 1, 2009,
both dates will be altered to 'appear' as current!

I can not help but wonder what that unfortunate person somewhere on the
planet who received those inquiries from excited Americans about something
called a "SX-88" thought! (LOL!)
