Just a couple of points, not all prescription pain killers are narcotic, actually most are synthetic (which are usually worse although they are usually called narcotics, a true narcotic is made from Poppy plants) and when used legitimately are among the most useful drugs known to man. Howard Hughes did not die from the codeine he was taking that was mixed with Tylenol, he died from kidney failure caused by the Tylenol, ironic huh? I have never heard of painkillers accentuating OCD. Codeine is a weak narcotic, legal to buy over the counter in many countries.
