I can't recall all of the nuances, Carl. There was a 62, 62A, and 62B.
Like the SX-101 and later A, there were also sub 'Marks' on top of the
base model. Knobs changed as well. Earlier 62s had colored dials,
other all black/white. Early 62s had a band change lever like the one
on the HT-37 instead of a knob matching the tuning knob. Early knobs
were the same as the S-40 type, replaced by the tapered knobs with
small shiny inserts. Later 62As and Bs had the larger fluted knobs
like the SR-150 etc. Electrically - who knows?

Well, that's a bit like comparing a Hemi to a Slant 6. I used to
listen to WCRN AM 830 in Worcester/Framingham when they played Big
Band music. It boomed in great up here, and the 62B would fill the
house with audio. It's hooked to an old DuKane PA speaker like school
classrooms used. Haven't had it on for a few months now, but winter is
on the way.

Haven't forgotten that knob either, Carl. Just been busy with
house/wife/NEAR-Fest stuff. I'll get it this weekend!
