Speaking of Solder, I went out yesterday, to buy a 1 lb spool from the local Halltek Store. They last me a very long time, for at home use, and I guess I seem to remember the price years ago, being about 8-10 dollers for 63-37 Eutectic, my preferred type. The few remaining 1lb spools of leaded solder were $28.00(!!). Is that the going price? High due to the elimination of leaded solders killing the supply? I would like to get some before it disappears but I walked out yesterday without the solder pending checking on typical street prices and availability of leaded solders. Can any one recommend a supplier, or remaining stock of Kester or Ersin Multicore, leaded solder?
