Hello Carl,
Please go to the HHI web site and use the search feature to explore the
archives. You can search by model number, part name, particular issue etc.
The QTH.NET archives used to hold the posts for about the previous 2.5
years, or 30 months. As you can imagine, this took a considerable amount of
storage space! After thirty months the new post would push the oldest post
off into oblivion.
Nowadays this storage capability has been expanded and much more data is
stored and available. So do some searches Carl and see what turns up. You
should try both the Hallicrafters list, as well as the Boat Anchors lists!
Since your need is radio specific, it narrows the field, but if your need
was information on availability and/or sources for five watt resistors, then
you could search all of the vintage radio lists for answers! Such as;
Hallicrafters, Heathkit, Hammarlund, Drake, Collins, Swan etc.
There is a tremendous amount of valuable data stored in the archives Carl.
So check it out!
Duane
