[Hallicrafters] SX-62 recap

Hi,

I've decide to consult the Oracle. I've just about
completed recapping my SX-62. It's been pretty easy
until now. For those of you that have done this
already, what did you do to get to the ones buried
under the band selector rod. Looks like I need to take
the side panel off. Removing the side panel cover
doesn't allow enough room as you know. Tricks, tips,
warnings... anyone?
