WOW,
Now that hurts!  My S38C certainly wasn't "junk" to me as it was my gateway 
into this wonderful hobby.  Yep, it was a broad as a barn door and the 
frequency would jump a little bit everytime someone walked in our home which 
had hardwood floors BUT personally, I could never call it junk, hi.

I haven't been following this thread but maybe there is a class as 
"nostalgic"?   Brings back fond memories or has a place in one's heart but 
monetarily not of much value.

Just my thoughts..
