To be called an antique the item needs to be at least 100 years old.

old, vintage or antique gear. He said " any thing over 2 years old is old.
Vintage gear is 15 to 30 years old and antique kicks in at 30 years. Is
this just a matter of opinion or is there an accepted rule. Or does any one
even care.
