Certainly FM has long ago taken over most of the music on radio, but there is one full time music station on the AM broadcast band at my location. Also the the SX-62 and SX-42 do have a separate 10.7 mHz IF for the two highest bands and will tune in the local FM music stations just fine (but, unfortunately not in stereo).

The audio from a SX-42 or SX-62 with push-pull 6v6s and an r-42 speaker is hard to beat.
