I believe I mentioned the Russian made tubes in answer to a question about where to obtain new 6V6s at a reasonable price.
I don't think there is any difference in sound, but these 6V6s are newly manufactured at around half the price of the "New Old Stock" American made tubes available from the same source, and you do not have to buy a matched pair.
I'm no audiophile either, but don't mind spending less money for a good product.
