[Hallicrafters] SX-42 7G7/7A4 mods

Hi,

I have an SX-42. It has had some modifications done to
it. One of them is the usage of a 7G7 instead of the
7A4.
It also has two different coax cables attached on the
underside in what appears to be a mod for a Panadapter
as it's off an IF stage and the other I don' know.

The radio works great except when in FM, part of the S
meter on the FM discrimintaor side is a bit off as
this might also be part of the 7G7 mod result.

Has anybody come across the 7G7/7A4 mod Panadapter
"arraingemnet"?
