[Hallicrafters] Bob Orwin Hallicrafters chief engineer during 60's

Hello Jim,

I have contact info for Bob. I spoke with him several years ago during the 
Saturday HHI Net on 40 meters from a nursing home that he was living in. He 
was about 85 years of age then, but keen, alert and very communicative.

Unfortunately, and I am "VERY" opposed to this!, the management of said 
nursing home forced him to give up using his Ham radio gear. Now why in the 
cosmos didn't the Hams in that part of Illinois raise heck about on of the 
pioneers in the field of radio being denied the right to even use his Ham 
equipment? That is more than an insult, it should be criminal.

I must ask you why you wish to contact him Jim, before I can release the 
contact info. Nothing personal.

Another close friend of Bob's, is Bill, W9PSU.
