One sure fire way to avoid putting in new caps incorrectly is always to clip 
out the old ones close to the cap body. That way you can see where the old 
leads are soldered. Many times it's best to attach the new cap to the old leads 
from the original especially because the leads on new caps are shorter than 
they used to be and the extra length is needed.
