[Hallicrafters] SX 99

I picked up a pretty fair SX 99 Saturday in Rock Hill, South  
Carolina.  The obvious damage was that the S meter was mangled and  
missing the plastic cover.  And two of the smaller black knobs were  
missing, outer left and outer right.  The main tuning dial needs re  
stringing and that means chassis removal for me.  The good part is  
that it plays on all four bands and band spread tuning works on all  
four, not just the higher ones.  From what I can gather studying  
website pictures, it appears that the S meters for SX 96 through SX  
100 would work.  The panel  behind the plastic varies slightly, but  
mine is good.  Does anyone know what movements would work if it comes  
down to that?     Does anyone have a good whole meter that they would  
be willing to sell?  Knobs would be great too, but I love to watch  
that needle move.  Thanks, JP
