Bob, I use a product called "AWESOME" of which it is, 99 cent & Dollar 
General and others carry it.
I spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes and hose it off with high 
pressure water and then air dry it with high pressure air real good. Let 
it sit in the sun to dry out and have had no problems. Be careful of 
dials and tape over XFMR laminations.
Blow plenty of air into the IF cans.
