[Hallicrafters] S-53A dial

I just received a S-53A that I am planning to restore.  Upon close examination I find that the dial is not the expected S-53A dial.  The bands are top to bottom: 1. 88 to 108 FM band, 2. 540 to 1600 AM band, 3. 1.7 to 4.5 Marine band, 4. 4.5 to 12 SW 1 and 5. 11 to 22 SW 2.

Does anyone have any idea what may have happened to this radio?  The dial glass seems to be rather difficult to replace.
