anything vintage on this new band of ours. Stability and frequency 
accuracy are going to be concerns. I have an Icom 765 that with careful 
use should be up to the task. I can see this being a problem for lots 
of people. Now the latest is you are supposed to have antenna data on 
hand calculating gain figures, and consequently ERP if your antenna is 
anything other than a half wave dipole. I haven't seen anything about 
taking into account losses in the system such as matching networks, 
feedlines etc. Not really a big deal, but most people are just not used 
to looking at all of these things. My guess is they will be policing 
this band to see what kind of operators we are. At the end of the day I 
wonder if it is worth all the trouble.....
But bands are bands, and we need to use them.
