[Hallicrafters] SX-28 T3 IF can

I have an SX-28 with a FCC tag on the front panel. There are some
differences between these and the standard SX-28, chiefly that the audio
output is not push-pull, but single ended (there is a metal plug in the
socket hole left by the unused 6V6). The tuning knobs have solid
webbing between the spokes like SX-28As but the RF tuning coils are like
the SX-28.

In this one, the T3 IF transformer (the tall one directly behind the
main dial) is different than any other I've seen. I think this is a
homebrew replacement, as it's about the same height as usual, but much
fatter and doesn't fit to the mounting holes - it's wired in, but just
sitting there, held in place by the wiring.

Does anyone know anyone out there have another FCC SX-28 for comparison,
or does anyone have a parts unit from which they'll sell me the T3 IF
transformer?
