[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters SX-71 guu?

Greetings Halli-crafty people:

I just shuffled home to Lubbock Texas from the Oklahoma City ham fest. I was able to execute an inventory shrink by swapping a big National HRO and a big Heath Mohawk for quite a lesser volumetric of goodies of possibly equal value. One medium biggie that latched on to me was a Halli SX-71 which I will try to get pumping real good. 

I seem to recall some time ago there was a good discussion on the list from a gent who was obviously the SX-71 guru. Could some kind soul identify same so that maybe I could contact him and so that maybe he might give me some advice before I get started?
