ONLY in his Lily Pad siesta time pond scum amphibian dreams!
I will be hosting the Sunday HHI 20 meter Net on July 15th, so drift on by
and join us for some facts, fascinating tidbits of history, fibs about
fabulous Ham Fest buys, filament flame outs and some vintage tube fun! I
guarantee that you will learn something, but no promises as to what it may
be!
The Pre-Net is at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC) and the Net proper at 1:15 PM
EST/EDT, (1715 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key
clicks, mike splatter and the now fang free NCS who can't wait to take a
bite out of something that is not mashed, strained or prepared in a blender!
I haven't seen the amphibian role model for humility in several weeks. When
Frogzilla suddenly vanishes, it is always reason for concern! It could be
that sign down the road about an all you can eat frog leg dinner this
weekend being hosted by the Frog Giggers of America. Then again he might be
plotting some devious way to get even with the oral surgeon who is getting
rich off the Tooth Fairy and depriving Frogzilla of his favorite snack.
Namely my medium well Porterhouse steak that he delights in sneaking up,
setting off the siren on my portable Weather Alert unit, snatching the steak
off my plate and making for the safety of the pond at his top hop speed!
Ever heard of one of those evil dental picks, like the hygenist uses to give
you filet of gum, being computerized, self-propelled and having AI? Stay
tuned! As I have a sense that the infamous frog may take a bite out of that
oral surgeon!
I hope to hear many of you tomorrow. So light up those tubes, drift in/out
of daydreams as the set warms up and then check into the HHI 20 meter Net.
Hear ya then!
