[Hallicrafters] Aligning the SX-28 ANL with sweeps?

I am accustomed to aligning receivers with sweeps using my Tek FG504 sweep generator
and a 'scope. Last night I went through the SX-28 IF and crystal settings with no
problem, but when it came to the ANL, I was a bit stuck: I'm not sure what I'm
looking for. Is alignment/setup of the ANL possible using sweeps, and if so, how is
it best done?
