[Hallicrafters] Look at this beauty!, cont'd

Does anyone have one of these converters in hand?  It would be very helpful
if someone who does would do a reverse engineering of it and create a
schematic.  That, combined with pictures topside and underside (uhh), would
allow many of us to create our own converter. What say?

Central Electronics has a plug in "converter" to let the slicer work with
other IF frequencies, I can't recall the model # but one of my slicers came
with it plugged into the back of the unit.  It is a very small chassis with
a crystal and tube mounted topside.  Hopefully yours will come with one of
those converters.
